Detroit Evening

One of my favorite places to stay in Detroit is the DoubleTree at Ft. Shelby in downtown Detroit. Downstairs is the Round Bar where they serve the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. Often we arrive at Ft. Shelby late in the day, and pretty worn out from the long drive. So, we go down to the Round Bar and have a late supper and watch the game from one of their TV's. I took this photo from one of the corner rooms, fairly late in the evening. There's a little glare from the windows, but it blew up nicely into and 11 x 16, which I framed and put with my Detroit collection.
